🛠️ Summary of update

• New ability to form armies with your troops and move them all at once. With an army, players get to decide what troops to combine in real time.
• New resource type: Oil, which players must balance to survive …
• Revamped graphics and more intuitive user controls.

Game Objectives

• Players compete by capturing as many bases (ports, cities, and oil wells) as possible.
• Ports and cities generate a certain amount of gold per second, which players can then use to purchase troops of their choice.
• Each Oil Well produces at a rate of 5 units. To avoid debuff, total consumption rate of oil needs to be less than the production rate of your oil wells.

Time Slots and Game Mode

• To accomodate players from different time zones and improve gaming experience, We’re opening lobbies during two time-slots a day:

  • 16 - 19 PM PST
  • 4 - 7 AM PST

• For this version, we’ve come up with three game modes: Sandbox, Large-map, and Small-map.

• We encourage you to enter the Sandbox mode if your goal is just to look around.

Basics

• Army
  • Army is the basic mobile unit of the game. Players can stack 1 - 5 troop units in one army.
  • By default, every occupant on a tile is an army, although it can contain as few as 1 troop.
  • army with naval troops such as battleship cannot move onto lands. To move an army on lands, make sure it’s solely consisted of infantry.
• Troop
  • The modular unit of an army.
  • Different troop types have distinct traits such as health or damage per hit.
  • Players can move troops to around troops to reorganize their armies.
• Base
  • Gold or Oil production centers with fixed locations which may be captured and owned by players. Randomly generated upon game instance initiation.
  • A base next to water is a Port, where all types of troops can be purchased.
  • An inland base is a City, where only infantry can be purchased.
  • Oil Wells are generated inland. It cannot produce troops.
